Responsibilities:

  • Act as the technical leader, providing guidance and expertise on project technologies and challenges to our technical teams;
  • Ensure that project outcomes meet internal quality KPIs and reporting standards;
  • Participate directly in technical delivery;
  • Conducting technical reviews of team deliverables;
  • Ensuring the optimal performance of information systems, overseeing system stability and responsiveness;
  • Leading the troubleshooting of performance issues, including metrics collection, log instrumentation, monitoring and incident tracking;
  • Performing database auditing, query analysis, and tuning;
  • Conducting indepth application performance analysis, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing tuning measures to improve overall system efficiency;
  • Collaborate with client and internal teams to proactively identify performance challenges and deliver solutions that enhance system performance and reliability;
  • Provide mentorship to team members on performance best practices and advanced troubleshooting techniques.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's and/or Master’s in Computer Science or similar;
  • 5 or more year of professional experience in Information Systems in roles such as: IT Operations Manager; Site Reliability Engineer; Platform Engineer lead; Production Support lead; Devops team lead; Infrastructure lead; Cloud Operations lead; Systems Engineering lead;
  • Hands-on practice and knowledge in the following technologies: Linux, Java, at least one relational Database (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL or other) and technology architectures Cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI);
  • Passionate and willing to dive into other technologies;
  • Hands-on technical expertise in last year at least in one type of technology solution (e.g.. CRM, Billing, Order Management, Middlewares or similar enterprise complex solutions);
  • Good level of English (minimum, B2 level).
  • Willingness to travel.

Nice to have:

  • Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Openshift and non relational Databases (MongoDB, Cassandra, ElasticSearch, Redis,...).
  • Experience with APM monitoring tools (e.g. Dynatrace, / AppDynamics, / Datadog or / NewRelic) and/or ELK stack;
  • Experience in troubleshooting applications in production environments (e.g., Weblogic, JBoss, Databases, Java or similar technologies);
  • Experience with Issue & Tracking systems (e.g. JIRA or ServiceNow)
  • Knowledge in Cloud environments (e.g. Azure, AWS or GCP);
  • Good level of Spanish.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for project delivery, ensuring effective communication with client stakeholders on project status, steering, and delivery quality.
